A message from the Principal
Thank you for requesting an application pack for what is a key post at Stockley Academy.
I arrived as the Principal of Stockley Academy in May 2007 and initiated a full restructure of the teaching staff. That restructure has led to the creation of a number of key posts.
The Academy needs teachers who are driven, ambitious and capable.
Stockley Academy is rapidly improving as stated by Ofsted in May 2010. This year we achieved 33% 5 A*-C including English and Math’s, up 7 % from last year and 15% the previous year. The 5A*-C percentage has now risen to 76% a rise of 32% from 44%, now surpassing the National Average.
However, there are further improvements to be made and there is still much to be done. We have a wonderful building, hard working staff and students who are eager to learn and improve.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a further leap forward for the Academy.
