Our journey is just beginning
in Mexico
This is the beginning of something special for Petrofac in Mexico. Earlier this year, we were selected to develop two key fields in Tabasco State, Central Mexico. Under the terms of the contracts, which run for 25 years we will invest US$500 million and employ some 150 people, with the aim of increasing production and managing the operations and maintenance of the fields.
Petrofac is a leading international provider of facilities solutions to the oil & gas production and processing industry.
We are in 27 countries around the world, employing nearly 14,000 people. In 2011, we took the decision to establish a base in Mexico before we had any permanent operations here. It showed our intent and our commitment to the region - and today that is stronger than ever before. While we have two major contracts already; we are determined to develop our operations here and become a major employer over the long term.
