How has HFI changed over the years?

We’ve definitely become more customer-focussed and service delivery has improved significantly. This was confirmed in our recent Tenants’ Satisfaction Survey. We now have a very good reputation in the housing sector and it gives me real job satisfaction to find other ALMOs coming to us for tips and advice!

Any favourite HFI moments/memories in your time here?

Being crowned employee of the year at the staff conference, of course! It was just so weird as I really hadn’t expected to win it. I’m thankful - it was a great honour and thanks to those who nominated me.

What’s the best thing about working for HFI?

There is a great team spirit at HFI which I have never had at any of my other jobs. I think its because we all know that our residents really need us - it makes us happy to go the extra mile. The benefits - generous annual leave and subsidised gym membership aren’t bad either!!
