COVER FX Skin Care Inc. was founded in 2000 by co-developers Lee Graff, Jenny Frankel and Dr. Neil Shear of the CosMedic Clinic at Sunnybrook & Women’s College Health Sciences Center, a leading Canadian teaching and research hospital.

Initially formulated to help patients with chronic skin disorders like rosacea, acne, psoriasis and vitiligo conceal the visible signs of their condition, COVER FX is a breakthrough product line that can be used by anyone who wants to eliminate the appearance of common and embarrassing skin flaws such as dark under-eye circles, blemishes and redness. Developed in 2000 as a total coverage cream foundation, the affordably priced product line now includes water-based foundation, mineral powders, bronzers and lip protection as well as application tools. COVER FX contains a proprietary “Dermfix” technology, which enables the make up to adhere to the skin. Lee Graff identified the need for a new generation of concealing products after a personal 15 year struggle to find commercially products that were suitable for sensitive skin, looked natural and included all ethnic backgrounds. Dr. Neil Shear, M.D., Dermatologist-in-Chief at the University of Toronto, established the CosMedic Clinic in order to help his patients cope with the visible symptoms of various skin diseases. COVER FX has been clinically tested on 1500 individuals with rosacea, a common sensitive skin condition that affects over 13 million Americans and one in ten in the United Kingdom.

From corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada, COVER FX Skin Care Inc. operations include Research & Development, Quality Control, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Regulatory Compliance.

The senior management team includes President Lee Graff, Chief Operating Officer Thomas Bond, and Vice-President R&D, Marketing Jenny Frankel. Both Tom and Jenny previously held key positions at M.A.C. Cosmetics.

COVER FX Skin Care Inc. invests heavily in the training of its personnel to ensure the highest level of service to its clients. In Canada alone, the company employs over 30 CosMedic Specialists, Retail and Medical Managers.

COVER FX Skin Care Inc. has experienced an annual growth rate of more than 300% since its inception in 2000.

The COVER FX line of products is distributed throughout Canada through major retail pharmacies, as well as select dermatology clinics and medical spas.
