Titchfield Staffing Strategy

At present, many people at the Titchfield site are working on the build up to the next Census in 2011. The decennial Census does bring some logistical problems for ONS in being able to increase our resource pool to cope with the intensive work needed to develop, run and produce the outputs from the Census, and then reducing back down to normal numbers for the period between Censuses.

A staffing strategy is in place to enable us to manage the increase and reduction in staff numbers effectively, and this means that all Titchfield based recruitment will be up to a 4 year fixed term appointments initially.

This work is of a temporary nature and the posts are expected to come to an end on a specific date and will not continue beyond that point. There may be occasions where ONS brings the contract to an end before the date stated in the contract, if so this will be done in accordance with the provisions of the contract. Please be aware that there will be no possibility of extension or renewal of this contract.
