Junior schools

nurturing a love for learning

Welcome to Christ Church Junior School

Christ Church Junior School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School based in Wolverhampton. This reflects a partnership between the Church and the State in providing education for all within a distinctly Christian context. Historically this school was founded and maintained by Christ Church, Tettenhall Wood for the children of the neighbourhood. Although maintained financially through the Local Authority, the school is still a Christian School, in which Christian worship, teaching about the Christian faith and a community life within a Christian atmosphere is cultivated.

“Christ Church C of E Junior School, Wolverhampton, is an outstanding school to be a part of. Both staff and pupils create a warm, friendly atmosphere in which to work. I have fully enjoyed my time with Christ Church and would fully encourage others to embrace the opportunity.”
– Paul, Year 6 Supply Teacher
